Wildlife Week is one of the mega educational activities celebrated every year by the zoo to promote the cause of conserving wildlife among society in general and students in particular. In the event, we focus on sensitization on burning issues about wildlife and biodiversity and open up the opportunity for schools and colleges to participate in the event to spread out the wider message of wildlife conservation by interactive means. This is an occasion that promotes students’ active participation and creates empathy for wildlife by organizing varied competitions, interactive sessions, and informative talks.
Introduction of Zoo is a two-day workshop held together with a wildlife celebration. This event is attended mostly by senior citizens and youth, and various engaging activities and insightful sessions were carried out. There were interactive discussions, educational seminars, and fun activities for the kids. People got the opportunity to interact with the animals and learn more about them.
