Meet our new family members
We are planning to introduce these new species to our faunal collection. Animals like the Grant’s Zebra, Mouse Deer, and Lion-tailed Macaque will be available soon for public display.

The zebra is a single-hoof animal that is indigenous to Africa. Zebra is a close relative of the donkey and horses which belongs to the genus Equus. The striking patterns on zebra’s coat are their most distinguishing characteristics. Zebras have white stripes between black or brown stripes, and the stripes finish at their white-coloured bellies and the inner sides of their legs. We are planning to add zebra to our Zoo Premises in future.

Hyenas are the members of the family hyaenidae which is made up of four different species of hyena. Hyenas are native to the African Savannas, Grasslands and woodland areas. Their coats vary from sandy to grey-brown, and they have shaggy hair along their neck and back.The hyena has the largest skull along with a long, thick, muscular neck and strong teeth. With keen eyes, large ears, and strong jaws, hyenas are adept scavengers and skilled hunters, contributing to their reputation as vital members of their ecosystems.
This species is intended to be introduced to zoo premises in the near future.

The four Horn antelope are also referred as the chousingha. it is the smallest antelope that lives in India and Nepal. Unlike the majority of other bovids, which have two horns, it has four horns. The four-horned antelope is slender with short, narrow legs and a yellowish-brown to reddish coat. One set of horns is between the ears, and another is on the forehead. The 2-5 cm long anterior horn is smaller than the posterior horn (8-12cm).
