Feeding, injuring, molesting, disturbing the animals by noise or otherwise and littering the grounds in the zoo is a punishable offence as per the section 38 J of Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972. The offenders would be liable for a punishment of six months imprisonment or a fine of Rs. 2000/- or both.
Narcotics substances like liquor, chewable items such as tobacco or gutkha and any smoking cigars are strictly banned inside the zoo premises. Any person found drunk will not be allowed to enter in the zoo.
Explosives, inflammatory and volatile substances, fire crackers, fire arms, any weapon and traps potentially dangerous to life of animals are not allowed inside the zoo.
Visitors are not allowed to play any music or musical instrument that will disturb the zoo animals
Cooking a food and lighting a fire for any purpose is prohibited in the zoo.
Air filled balloons, sports items like balls, shuttles, bats, rackets etc. are not allowed inside the zoo.
Entry for the pet animals is not allowed in the zoo.
No person will damage the zoo property, it is a punishable offence.
Visitors are not allowed to enter in the ‘No entry’ and restricted areas of zoo.
Visitors are not allowed to cross the safety railings of the animal enclosures.
Use of plastic is banned in the zoo; visitors must carry all eatables in the paper bags.
Visitors will have to pay Rs.10/- as a deposit amount for the every plastic bottle or plastic item if any to be taken inside the zoo. The deposit amount will be refunded to the visitors at the time of exit on showing same plastic item and receipt at counter.
Every visitor should sit on the benches along the main road and inside the resting sheds.
Visitors are not allowed to cut the tree flowers, leaves and fruits inside the premises.
Visitors should take care of their belongings and children.
Visitors must follow guidelines and instructions written on the information signage.
Battery operated car facility may not be provided with guarantee; the service will be in force subject to availability of vehicles.
Wheel chairs are available for the handicapped visitors. The users have to pay Rs. 100/- as a deposit which will be refunded at the time of exit on showing wheel chair and receipt.
Visitors who bought a ticket and enter in the zoo, the validity of such entry ticket ends once visitors exits from the zoo. To enter again the visitors will have to buy a new ticket.
Visitors should cooperate with the zoo staff working at the entrance gate and not to create trouble in the official duty.
Entry for the private vehicles in the zoo premises is banned .
After the official booking timings no visitor will be allowed to enter in the zoo.
